Privacy Policy

Overview

YouTube Switcher ("the App") is an accessibility-focused YouTube playlist player. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App runs entirely in your browser and does not have a server-side component. No analytics, cookies, or tracking technologies are used by the App itself.

Google Sign-In

The App offers an optional Google Sign-In feature that allows you to browse your own YouTube playlists. When you sign in with Google, your authentication is handled entirely by Google's services. The App receives temporary, read-only access to your YouTube playlist data so it can display your playlists for you to choose from. This data is used only within your browser session and is not stored, logged, or sent to any external server.

You can revoke the App's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions.

YouTube API

The App uses the YouTube IFrame Player API and YouTube Data API to play videos and retrieve playlist information. Your interactions with YouTube content are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

The App loads resources from Google and YouTube. These third-party services may collect information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
